Grapefruit Craft

Emily and I are having a weekly craft, and this is our first craft of our first week! I will be posting our crafts here, and trying to keep up with my blog posts :)

This is a grapefruit craft. A grapefruit bird feeder, in fact! Here are some pictures to show you how to make it:

Here's what you'll need: small grapefruit {or large orange}, heavy duty string, cutting board, very sharp knife, toothpicks, and a spoon!

Cut the grapefruit in half with the sharp knife on the cutting board.

Scoop out the inside of one half of the grapefruit with the spoon into a bowl. It was really gross {just warning you}!

This is what it should look like when you're finished scooping the fruit out!

Use a ruler and measure three 18 inch pieces of heavy duty string.

Use the toothpicks to skewer 3 evenly spaced holes about half an inch from the top of the grapefruit.

Tie a knot at the end of the three strings, and have someone hold the knot on the bottom of the grapefruit.

Pull the string through the grapefruit holes that you made!

Pull them tightly and tie another knot at the top.

Take your grapefruit outside and fill it with birdseed to the rim!

 Until it looks like this!

Hang it from a strong branch, and ...

Watch the birds eat from your grapefruit feeder!!!

Emily and I are so happy about our grapefruit creation!

I hope you enjoyed these pictures, and want to make it sometime! It's very fun!

Pretty Pretty Princess

Emily took me out in our backyard and we took pictures of me in my pretty princess dress! Here are some pictures she took:

I look like there's something on the ground that's mysterious!

In Tangled, there is Pascal... He's the chameleon!

My dress was so long on me, that I tripped over it all the time!

My dress is so poofy when I sit down!

Ow! < In the first picture.

'You'd better listen to her!'

It was really cold. If you can tell, my face was red!

What a beautiful day!

Emily and I took Oliver for a walk today. It was beautiful outside! That's why the title is called 'What a beautiful day!'! Here are some pictures I took along the walk:
This is a picture of Oliver running. That's my sister, Emily's, dog.

Oliver's leash got stuck, that's why it's so long there.

 Emily walking Oliver.

Oliver looks like he's creeping on something!

This is a short post. I made 2 posts in 1 day! The other one seemed like a long post! Au revoir!

My first tutorial on how to make baked crayons

This is my first tutorial and it is how to make big chunky crayons! Here are some pictures of how to make them!
 First, get some old crayons.

Then you take a utility knife and cut the paper off of the crayon.

Peel off the paper from the crayon.

Then chop up your crayons to look like the ones in the picture.

This is what your crayons should look like in your muffin tins!

 Here are some close ups!

Pre-heat the oven to 275 degrees.

Put them in the oven for 7-11 minutes. When they are done, take them out, let them cool, then put them in the fridge for 5 minutes. Then put the pans upside down and tap to make them fall out!

I hope you enjoy this tutorial on how to make big chunky crayons!

This is my first post in a long time. And now I am 7! These pictures are pictures I took today, of everything! That's why the title is 'pictures of everything'!
 This is me!

 Driveway and view.

My moms shirt is the background.

The sauce that we put on the lasagna tonight!

I like this picture, because of all the colors!
